Even though we are a for-profit corporation, API has a goal to participate in contributing to the increase of accessible affordable housing for individuals and families in traditionally under-served urban geographic locations. Our vision is to ensure that we can work on those type projects whenever possible either by providing: Repair Services, Remodel, Renovation or New Construction for both Single Family and MultiFamily properties. We support federal, state, local government, non-profit and community initiatives that assists in improving and increasing home ownership and other affordable housing options, as well as stimulate economic growth and encourage community-based participation in order to sustain a community's overall success.
One important factor that many businesses with similar affordable housing goals miss is including the community, local municipalities, local non-profit organizations and other small businesses to provide important input and feedback about what the community needs--and not just what the developer envisions. API is keen to that factor and has community development experience and success in building strategic partnerships with all key partners to ensure successful collaborative efforts.
